1 killed as a result of a roof fall in Uttarkashi due to rain

People who were lost were escorted to safer locations.Officials from the relevant departments are stationed at the sites.Officials in the Chinyalisaur region reported that the roof collapsed victim, Bhattu Devi, and her husband were asleep at night at the time of the accident.Her body was discovered from sand the next morning and given a postmortem.

The Met center said on Thursday that Dehradun received 60mm of rainfall, while Mussoorie and Uttarkashis Bhatwari town received 40mm and 90mm.
