Dubai (UAE), December 10: The International League T20 has today announced the UAE players who will compete in the league's inaugural ILT20 on Friday, January 13, in just over a month until the first Smartball is bowled and the first bat echoes its glorious crack across the Dubai International Stadium.With 24 competitive positions open, each team consisting of four players, and at least two (players) will play in the starting XI of each team in each match, Emirates Cricket's highly awaited release marks an unprecedented moment in its history, as well as a hopeful prospect for the Associate nation in the future, according to Mubarak Usmani, General Secretary of Emirates Cricket.The league is based on a tradition of excellence for UAE Cricket and the UAE players, and to be in a position to tell the cricketing world that with the help and support of our franchises, 24 of the best available UAE players have been found, according to Usmani.The UAE is a member of the ILT20's six franchises: Matiullah Khan, Fahad Nawaz, Sabir Ali, Zawar Farid, Dell Vipers: Rohan Mustafa, Sheraz Ahmad, Ali Naseer, Ronak Panoly, Afghanistan The first ILT20, which took place in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, will be played by the UAE's finest, world-class Cricket facilities.
Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders), Desert Vipers (Lancer Capital), Dubai Capitals (GMR), Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline), MI Emirates (Reliance Industries), and Sharjah Warriors (Capri Global) are among the franchise teams.
