Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), December 8 (India) : According to the voting statistics of the Election Commission of India, the Bharatiya Janata Partys rebels are leading from their respective constituencies in Himalaya Pradesh as Independent candidates.However, Congress is now leading in 34 seats, and the BJP is 31.Hiteshwar Singh, an independent from Banjar, has been elected to the Himalayan assembly election with 8585 votes.However, Congress Khimi Ram has 8574 votes so far, while BJPs Surender Shourie is trailing with 7424 votes.
Dr. Rajesh Sharma, the Congress candidate for this seat, is ahead of BJPs Ramesh Chand by 5848 votes until 10.55am.Meanwhile, BJP rebel KL Thakur is also leading in Nalagarh with 12378 votes, while Congress candidate Chet Ram is trailing with 6629 votes, while Congress candidate Anirudh Singh has 11143 votes.BJP's Harish Janartha of Congress is leading with 10514 votes in the Haroli constituency, with Congress and BJP candidates Sanjay Sood trailing with 8610 votes, according to the ECI.The polling stationed in the hill state opened at 8 a.m. on Thursday, and the BJP's Ram Kumar, who is a national leader, is still leading with 7172 votes.The emergence of the Aam Aadmi Party as the third major political party in the state has heightened the electoral battle.Other than these three, such as the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India (CPI), and the Rashtriya Devbhumi Party (RDP) have also won in the state, which has a tradition of re-election.
