PATNA: On Thursday, over 3,000 applicants appeared in the National Testing Agency's Joint Entrance Examination Main (Paper 2), which was administered in two shifts throughout the state.The applicants took their computer-based exam at 12 centers in Patna, one in Madhubani, and one in Gaya.The examination went smoothly without a single incident at any time.The JEE Main (Paper 2) was developed for acceptance into the BArch and BPlanning programs.

Candidates said the overall question paper, which was broken into three sections, was moderate.Shristi Suman, a BArch aspirant who appeared for the examination at Birla Institute of Technology-Patna, said the mathematics section was difficult and time consuming.The remaining sections, such as aptitude and drawing, were straightforward, according to her.She said the drawing section was much more enjoyable.

More questions were asked about 3D models, he said.The JEE Main Paper 1 for engineering candidates will be held in 35 Bihar cities from June 24-29.Around 70,000 candidates will apply to the state's exam.Students may be admitted to BTech programs at IITs, NITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes based on the results.
