AURANGABAD (AURANGABAD): Sunil Chavan, a district collector, ordered the suspension of four Aadhar facilitation centers and a collective fine of Rs 2.5 lakh for violating government laws on Friday. The decision was made after it was determined that the rules were broken and that customers were being overcharged at these centers, according to a district administration official. For running the common service centers (CSC), the village level entrepreneurs (VLE) are selected.Citizens are able to access a number of documents and other related documents from these centers without going to the district administration headquarters.

The four centers identified as Pandurang Jagtap, Satish Sarje, Baswant Barsamwar, and Sameer Khan were found to be involved in odd hour enrolment, overcharging, and corrupt practices during an outbound dialler survey (ODS), which was carried out on the instructions of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), according to the official. The VLEs were summoned based on the findings. However, they failed to persuade the authorities, who asked Chavan to ban their licenses for one year and impose a Rs 1 lakh fine on Jagtap and Rs 50,000 each on the remaining three.
