Mumbai (Maharashtra) (India) — GoAir, a company that promotes international connectivity, announced on Friday that 42 non-stop weekly flights to and fro from New Goa International Airport (Mopa, North Goa), will begin operations on January 5, 2023.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second international airport in Mopa, North Goa, on the same day, at 0850 hrs.In the existing network scheme, GO FIRSTs will fly directly from Goa to Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.Although GO FIRST will continue operations from the existing Goa airport, this new station is a step toward improving domestic connectivity in order to satisfy the increasing demand for leisure destinations.
