New Delhi (India) – On Wednesday, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training), Minister of State for MLAs and MPs (Department of Personnel and Training), announced that 56 cases had been registered by CBI from 2017 to 2022 (up to 31.10.2022), out of which chargesheets had been filed in 22 cases, he said.The highest number of MLAsMP lawsuits has been filed in Andhra Pradesh, with ten, according to the reports.Uttar Pradesh and Kerala followed this with six in both states.In West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh, five cases were reported.
In Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir, two per cent of the population is based there.On Wednesday, the Winter Session of the Parliament began in Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Lakshadweep.The session will last 17 working days.
