Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh), India, November 30: A fire gutted a building in the Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday evening, killing six people, including three children, and injuring three others.According to investigators, Raman Kumar, the former owner of an electronics and jewellery store, was living in the building with his family of nine members that caused the fire.After receiving an alert of the incident, about 18 fire tenders of Agra, Etah, Mainpuri, and Firozabad were immediately pressed into the service, according to SP Firozabad.Senior police officers said the source of the fire that broke out in Padham town of Jasrana district in Firozabad district is likely to be of a short circuit.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his sadness at the incident in Jasrana, district Firozabad, and condoled the bereaved families.The chief minister has directed the district administration officials to ensure the best treatment of the wounded and wished them a speedy recovery, according to the Office of the Chief Minister.
