7 High Court judges should be transferred, according to SC Collegium

New Delhi, India, November 24: The Supreme Court Collegium, led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, recommended the transfer of seven High Court judges to various High Courts in the region and posted the resolution on the top court's website.Justice Battu Devanand has been transferred from the Andhra Pradesh High Court to the Madras High Court, while Justice Lalitha Kanneganti recommended that the court be transferred from Telangana High Court to the Justice D Nagarjun was asked to be transferred from Telangana High Court to Madras High Court.Justice T Raja has been transferred from the Madras High Court to the Rajasthan High Court, according to the Collegium, and a delegation of bar leaders met with the CJI in the Supreme Court.However, Justice Nikhil S Kariel of the Gujarat High Court has not been named on the list of High Court judges to be transferred, according to the Collegium.
