8 districts in Madhya Pradesh have a positive attitude rate of at least 5%.

Indore has the highest positivity rate of 12.15 percent out of the 8 districts identified . Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Raisen, Khargone, Sehore, Gwalior, and Bhind have 5% positivity rate .

Although more Covid-19 cases have been identified in the last few weeks, eight districts of state are seeing more than 5% weekly positivity rate for the week between July 28 and August 3.Indore has the highest positivity rate of 12.15 percent out of the 8 districts identified, which are Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Raisen, Khargone, Sehore, Gwalior, and Bhind.The optimism rate is the number of people who are found to be positive on each 100 samples tested.According to the data from the Union Ministry of Home and Family Care, Indore had 12.15% positivity rate, Jabalpur had 8.98%, Bhopals 8.86%, Raisen 8.23%, Khargone 7.05%, Sehore 5.72%, Gwalior 5.29%, and Bhind had 5% for the week between July 28 and August 3.

But, according to sources, the positivity rate in Jabalpur, Bhopal, and Raisen is much higher here than in Indore, which has a 12.15% positive rate.However, despite the rise in cases and the increase in the success rate, testing is still limited in the state.Though on an average 72,000 tests were performed per day in January this year, it fell to 70,000 tests per day in February, 30,000 average tests per day in March, 8,000 tests per day in April, and it dropped to 7,000 tests per day in the month of May.According to sources, only 1.98 lakh tests were conducted in the month of June, which averaged to 6,622 tests a day, while in July it rose to 2.19 lakh tests, which averaged to 7075 tests a day.
