A cargo train has left towards Delhi.

The train will leave Coimbatore north station at 10am and arrive in Delhi at 11.45pm on Mondays . It will stop at Vanjipalaiyam, Erode, Salem, Renigunta, and Nagpur .

On Saturday, a parcel freight express train from Coimbatore was flagged off from the city to Delhi.On Saturday, the freight train would leave Coimbatore north station at 10am and arrive in Delhi at 11.45pm on Mondays, and it would stop at Patel Nagar station.For loading and unloading of goods, the train will stop at Vanjipalaiyam (near Tirupur), Erode, Salem, Renigunta, and Nagpur.The train will reach Coimbatore north station at 8.30 p.m. on Wednesdays from Patel Nagar station and will depart from Delhi at 6 a.m. on Wednesdays.

More containers, including textiles, were loaded at Vanjipalaiyam and Salem, according to Salem divisional railway manager A Gautam Srinivas, who flagged off the train and assured reporters that the train would assist in the manufacturing process by transporting finished products to Delhi and bringing back raw materials and other commodities.The train service is faster and more convenient than the bus service.The cargo train operators will strictly follow the scheduled schedule.It will also enable factories to produce products on schedule.
