A commercial delegation from SIIC was deployed to Singapore.

A multi-sectoral business delegation was sent to Singapore by the Startup Incubation and Innovation Center (SIIC) The delegation consists of 16 SIICs startups from the Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, AgriTech, Manufacturing, and Cyber Defense fields . The delegation will travel to a distinguished group of international industrialists and venture capitalists .

Kanpur, November 1, 2016: A multi-sectoral business delegation was sent to Singapore by the Startup Incubation and Innovation Center (SIIC), IIT Kanpurs technology business incubator.The delegation will be in Singapore until May 20.Dr. Nikhil Agarwal, the CEO of the Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, leads the delegation.The delegation consists of 16 SIICs startups from the Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, AgriTech, Manufacturing, and Cyber Defense fields.

Dr. Nisha Kohli, founder & CEO Corpstage, will give a talk on titled Conversations that Matter Startups search for a true self, followed by a meeting with the IIT Alumni Association in Singapore.The meetings with diverse industrialists would bring about networking opportunities with Singapore-based VC and investors, as well as opportunities for future collaborations.Professor Amitabha Bandyopadhyay, Professor-In-Charge, SIIC, IIT Kanpur, said, Many SIIC companies have global products, and therefore connecting them with international customers is vital.SIIC executives will accompany a delegation of 16 leading companies to Singapore for a first-ever experiment, where they will meet potential clients, industry executives, business associations, and government representatives.
