Kolkata: The Hazra Park Durgotsab in Kolkata has created a unique method of preparing a Durga Puja pandal for the people who can't come here due to their inability to see, according to Hazra Park state minister Sovhandeb Chatterjee.This unique puja pandal features a Braille board on which these abled people can see the look of the pedal by touching and feeling it, without asking for others The National Institute of Professionals (NIP) has partnered up to produce a Durga Puja Pandal with Braille Board, highlighting the theme of Tandav this year.The general secretary said, We have chosen the theme Tandav because we encounter it in many areas of life everyday, according to General Secretary Sayandeb Chatterjee.Through this Puja Pandal, many other aspects of life are also explored, he said.

According to the visually impaired Manali Mandal, this is a good initiative in which visionless people can also visit Pandal and feel and enjoy Durga Puja using Braille.
