A five-day northeast theatre festival will be held in Vadodara.

In Vadodara, the National School of Drama (NSD) is hosting the Northeast Theatre Festival in conjunction with M S University's Faculty of Performing Arts.The festival will begin in Vardodara on Monday.It will be held in three cities.Bikaner in Rajasthan and Bengaluru in Karnataka are the two other cities.

In the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav group, a total of 15 plays from Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland were chosen.Professor Sitanshu Yashaschandra, a well-known writer-poet and poet, will open the theatre festival at the Medical College auditorium of SSG Hospital.The Sacred Witch is written and performed by Dr S Shantibala Devi (May 16), Aaor xomaan hobo Kun written and performed by Bharat Chutia (May 17), Shaamlong Thong Landuna written and performed by Laitaanthem Shyamkishore Singh (May 19), and Kamla Devi : (May 20) will be free of charge, according to festival coordinator Dr Pramod Chavan.
