A man from Bihar, his two wives, and his mother were all burned to death; a family quarrel is suspected.

DARBHANGA (BIHAR): On Saturday, four members of a family were killed in Bihar's Darbhanga district, including a 40-year-old man, his two wives, and his mother, according to a police official.The first wife reportedly poured petrol on them and started a fire after a fight.The assault took place in the morning in Sheikhpur Tola district of Biraul town.According to Biraul Sub-Divisional Police Officer Manish Chandra Chaudhary, the deceased Mohd Khurshid Alam (40) was married to Gulshan Khatun (35) who bore him no children.

Gulshan is said to have poured kerosene on herself and other members of the family in the morning and lit a fire.According to Chaudhary, Zubeida and Roshan succumbed to burns at the Biraul community health center, while Alam and Gulshan died while being transported to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital.Further investigations have been requested by forensic scientists.
