A 55-year-old man has been charged with deceitful job hunting by promising a job in a public sector firm . Police arrested him on suspicion of a Kottuvally native, Suraj Sukumaran .

Kochi, Jan. 16, 2017: An 55-year-old man has been charged with deceitful job hunting by promising a job in a public sector firm, according to Eloor police.He was a peon with FACT and residing in Eloor's FACT employee quarters, according to police.He was employed with the company's social department, according to the cops.Eloor police arrested him on suspicion of a Kottuvally native, Suraj Sukumaran.

According to police, he lured the complainant to a prospective work as a casual labourer at the firm.Casual workers also receive compensation as part of a public sector employment arrangement.The welfare department was used to handle papers relating to casual laborers.According to an official, the accused used this to entice the complainant.

According to police, the accused has been on the lam since the lawsuit was filed.He was charged with harassment and dishonestly requiring the delivery of goods under Sections 406 (criminal assault) and 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).Police apprehended him in Vaikom.Officers are also looking at whether he has had any internal investigations in the company in the past.

As part of an investigation, police will seek him in jail.Police said he was defrauding more people and were waiting for more charges against him.The deceased man was identified as Nitheesh Kumar, the son of Kumbalam's father, who was discovered dead near the railway gate on Monday morning.He lived in a neighborhood and had attended a party on Sunday night, according to police.
