Login to view results.Sunil Sethi, Chairman, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), and fashion designer Ashish N Soni conducted a series of fashion shows at Pearl Academy, which were designed and executed by the School of Fashion & Technology students.Though Sunil applauded the students' efforts for being up to par with international requirements, Ashish was enthralled by their thematic representation.Both acknowledged the faculty members for their excellent assistance with the students. Another highlight of the fashion shows was the collaboration with Hansgrohe, which was a perfect example of fusion of art and technology.The AXOR Showerheaven 1200 x 300 was the show-stopper, since it showcased the chic clothes on the ramp.This had never been attempted on an Indian fashion ramp before.Student Showcase at Pearl Academys Portfolio 2022 Aside from fashion shows, panel discussions and workshops on entrepreneurship and Metaverse were held. Students also created Mimesis or simply called the reflector dress, using fashion technology as their primary language, as a self-reflection tool among their peers, and with the help of Snapchat they created a digital version of it.Students and faculty from the School of Design showcased their unique creations, including Jal Sathi, ARTEMIS 389 Patient Transfer Equipment, and a multifunctional space exploration vehicle.The students of School of Contemporary Media created an impressive collection of fiction films, fashion films, documentaries, and augmented reality-based projects.A faculty member from the D-School of Business at Portfolio 2022 interacts with a student at the Pearl Academy D-School of Business created Augmented Reality Markers to display the exhaustive student study at the click of a button, keeping with the school's culture of digital and disruption. The reader was required to point the digital screen at the AR marker, and pop-ups of the desired value became available on the monitor.DSoB's Augmented Reality Markers showcase student research industry experts from Whirlpool, Havells, and IBM attended Portfolio 2022 and congratulated Pearl Academy students on their achievements.Portfolio 2022 attracted over 2000 fashion and design students from 40 Delhi-NCR colleges, who came back inspired.Pearl Academy Fashion Styling and Image Design students and faculty in partnership with Snapchat Pedagogy at Pearl Academy, as well as strong industry partnerships and initiatives such as Learning for Life guarantee a high placement success rate of up to 99%.
