CHENNAI: Higher education minister K Ponmudy told reporters in Chennai on Friday that the Tamil Nadu government has decided to conduct an examination rather than interviews to fill assistant professor positions in government arts and science colleges.The state government will fill 4,000 vacancies in state government arts and science colleges, according to the study.Ponmudy said that the Teachers Recruitment Board would issue a new recruitment notice.The board released 2,331 open positions in 2019 and announced that the positions would be filled based on interview ratings.
