Nigdi police have charged a Navi Mumbai-based man and his wife with bribing him for Rs80.29 lakh . Amol Sankhe (50) of Vashi filed a lawsuit with the police, stating that during a meeting at Pradhikaran in Nigdi in 2017, the share trader and his wife promised high returns on investment in shares .

Pune: Since May 2017, Nigdi police have charged a Navi Mumbai-based man and his wife, both Kolhapur residents, with bribing him for Rs80.29 lakh.On Friday, Amol Sankhe (50) of Vashi filed a lawsuit with the police, stating that during a meeting at Pradhikaran in Nigdi in 2017, the share trader and his wife promised high returns on investment in shares.Sankhe, his father, and his three friends, according to police, poured a total of Rs1.42 crore into the trader's share trading scheme.The trader initially gave the five investors Rs61.71 lakh, but they stopped paying them later in the process.

When the complainant and others demanded back their initial investment and the promised rewards, the stock trader called them back.According to police, the complainant and other victims approached us after this.
