Aaftab, the accused in the Shraddha murder case, is receiving psychiatric testing

New Delhi, India, November 24, : According to Delhi Police sources, Aaftab Amin Poonawalla, the suspect in the macabre Shraddha Walkar murder trial, is undergoing the Perceptual Ability Test (PAT), which is a psychological assessment test.According to Delhi Police sources, the lab for Aaftab is being run by the Rohini Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and the accused is expected to undergo a polygraph examination after the psychological analysis test is completed, according to the police sources.This is a lengthy process.According to Delhi Police, the suspect is now in police detention after the hearing has ended, and a narco test will be conducted in judicial detention as well.

He is accused of strangling Shraddha, his live-in partner, to death and breaking her body into 35 pieces.He is also accused of preserving the chopped body parts in a freezer before dumping them in the forests of south Delhis Chhatarpur.To advance the probe, Aaftab went through court-sanctioned polygraph tests on November 23.As the relationship developed, Aaftab and Shraddha met on a dating website and moved in together to a rented house in Chhatarpur, according to FSL officials.

Aaftab told police he wiped blood stains from the floor of the couples Chhatarpur apartment with some chemicals and also disposed of all stained clothing, before moving the body to the bathroom and storing the chopped body parts, according to Delhi Police.
