New Delhi (India), November 25: Sandeep Bhardwaj, the trade wing secretary of Aam Aadmi Party, was found dead at his Rajouri Garden home on Thursday, according to police.Bhardwaj was taken to Kukreja Hospital, Rajouri garden, at 4.40pm, and died as a result of hanging at residence, according to a PCR message sent by the hospital.According to police, a crimeteam has been sent to the location of Sandeep Bhardwaj's death.Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed sorrow for his death and offered condolences.May God give his soul a place at his holy feet.

Officials said that inquest proceedings under section 174 Crpc are being conducted as per law.Further investigations are also underway.The incident occurred weeks before the MCD election, which is scheduled to take place on December 4th, while the counting of votes will take place on December 7.There are 250 valid candidates from the BJP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).According to reports, three Congress nominees were cancelled in MCD elections, and the BJP, which currently controls the National Assembly, will contest only on 247 seats in the election on December 4.
