Kochi (Kotel): KP Sirajuddin, a film producer and main suspect in a customs lawsuit in April who attempted to smuggle 2.23 kg gold by concealing it in a meat-slicing machine, was taken to jail by Ernakulam's additional chief magistrate (economic offence) court on Thursday.Customs states that Sirajuddin was also involved in gold smuggling through various seaports and airports earlier in the court's remand report.He and his other relatives agreed.Shabin also set up a sum of Rs 65 lakhs.
