After 18 days of drowning, an MP techie's body is discovered.

Arprit Shukla, 31, drowned in the Dudhsagar river on September 5 after falling off the waterfalls . The software programmer from Bhopal was said to have fallen into the creek in an attempt to get a snapshot of the falls .

Ponda, India: Arprit Shukla, a Madhya Pradesh techie,'s body resurfaced after 18 days on Thursday.The 31-year-old software programmer from Bhopal drowned in the Dudhsagar river on September 5 after falling off the waterfalls.The body was discovered to be stuck in the roots of a tree on the banks of the falls 7 kilometers away from Collem's Falls, according to Collem PI Sanjay Dalvi, who was in Goa to assist with the search.It has been preserved in the GMC mortuary for a possible autopsy on Friday.Shukla and his wife and some acquaintances took a trip to the Dudhsagar waterfalls on the evening of September 5.

Shortly after, a search operation was launched.
