Hyderabad (Telangana) (India) — On the one hand, state chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) blames the Bharatiya Janata Party for the murder of a youth in protest, and encourages the party's MLAs-ministers to attend the deceased final rites; on the other hand, local police, according to Ravi, investigates cases on the youth, which demonstrates the parties' double standards. After all the tests were completed and only one written exam was left, Mallu Ravi, the Vice President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), said it was the Centre's mistake that they have announced a scheme (Agnipath) which is a temporary job...four years are for preparation, the remaining three and a half years for service is like a contractual job.The Government should immediately scrap the Agnipath Scheme, and recruitment should be carried out in a regular manner.Ravi said that if they do not do so, it will cause injustice to the country. The Railways police arrested almost 2,000 youth in connection with the Modi government's Agnipath Scheme, which allegedly led to huge protests throughout the country, including at Central Government offices and railway stations, and the 3 Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act (PDPPA), citing the agitators' damage to railway assets worth Rs 20 crore, according to the police.
