Algiers (Algeria), May 14 (Xinhua), (Algeria): Two vehicles collided in the eastern province of El Oued near the border with Tunisia on Friday, killing nine people and injuring two others, according to the official Algeria Press Service.According to Civil Protection Commander Ahmed Badji, the injured passengers had received first aid on the spot before being taken to the local hospital, and an investigation has been launched to determine the source and cause of the accident.According to a previous report, 90.64 percent of Algerian traffic accidents were caused by a lack of respect for traffic law.Other factors include the poor state of roads and vehicles, as well as environmental causes.
