MADRID: After a dark three years at Real Madrid, Eden Hazard will stay next season, as the Belgian is determined to prove his worth, according to Carlo Ancelotti.Hazard was one of the best players in the country when he joined Real Madrid for an initial 100 million euros in 2019, but since then he has been plagued by injury problems.At the end of March, the 31-year-old underwent surgery on his right ankle in the hopes of resolving the new in a long line of fitness issues.Hazard has been reduced to a small role in the squad even as he is available this season, but Ancelotti insists he should not leave this summer.He has a lot of energy because he hasnt had a great time in the last few years, and he wishes to showcase all of his beauty, which he hasn't been able to do for several reasons.Hazard is back and could face Cadiz on Sunday after his latest surgery removed a metal plate from his ankle in March 2020.Nonetheless, he will have to re-establish himself in Real Madrids starting lineup next season, with Vinicius Junior emerging as one of the clubs most explosive players this season and Kylian Mbappe expected to join from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.With a Real Madrid squad, you can even play a lot of games, Ancelotti said.
