Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) India — On Monday, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur unveiled table tennis and other sports activities organized by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in Varanasi.During the meeting, Anurag Singh Thakur addressed the audience in Kashi Tamil Sangamam, adding, I welcome all the Uttar Pradesh table tennis players.I think there will be perfect table tennis matches here today, according to the Union Sports Minister.Talking about the matches being held today, Union Sports Minister said that table tennis matches will begin now and that badminton will be played in the evening.

Players from both states have also accepted players from distant states in Kashi Tamil Sangamam.All of you now have a chance to join Kashi Tamil Sangamam, in the arts, literature, and other disciplines such as football.I congratulate all of you and wish you all the best.These athletic events are arranged with the support of IIT Madras and Banaras Hindu University.

On Sunday, Thakur was seen playing cricket at a Kashi Tamil Sangamam friendly match in Varanasi.The sports festival was part of Kashi Tamil Sangamam.On the fourth day, an informal cricket match between Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu was held.Anurag Singh Thakur honoured the players and welcomed Tamil Nadu players to Varanasi.

Anurag Thakur said that the gaming platform has helped youth from both states communicate with each other.
