Kolkata, December 18: Mohammed Asif Iqbal, a visually impaired associate director at PwC Consulting, has run in a number of races in Kolkata for the past five years and believes it is time to run without physical assistance.He will be joined by two of his colleagues on the run, each carrying a wireless speaker attached to their waists that will enable Asif to see the exact position of the buddy runners.However, that did not prevent me from achieving my objectives.I have been running in Kolkata for the last five years in various distances, Asif said.
My running buddy would give me an audio description of the surroundings, which would help me to follow them and reach my goal, according to him.I'd like to complete my 25 Km run in 3 hours 35 minutes.I have been training for a long time, and I'm hoping that the results will be encouraging this time.Asif signed off.
