For the first time the Sharifs elected the senior most in the hopes of avoiding the highest ranking. Now that they've decided who they like the most, it's hoped that it would be smooth. We'll have to wait and see if the Sharifs have more success in nominating this army chief who is the most senior than they have in the past, according to Devasher.Earlier today, Pakistan's Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb revealed the name of Lt Gen Munir for the position of COAS in a tweet.Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has been named chairman of Pakistan's joint chiefs of staff by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and Lt.
