KABUL: On Monday, security forces in Afghanistan shot and killed at least three attackers inside a hotel in central Kabul popular with Chinese nationals, according to a Taliban-run spokesperson.The attack has now ended, with no foreigners wounded, although two of them were injured while attempting to flee the assault by jumping from the hotel balcony, according to spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid.Smoke billowed out of a multi-story building with one lower floor on fire, according to a video shared on Twitter by a Kabul journalist, who was verified by Reuters.According to Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran, the assault took place around 2:30 p.m. local time at an assault on a hotel where common people were staying, adding that forces were working to isolate the area.
