Automatic block production equipment capable of producing 12-15 thousand paver blocks every day

Kirron Kher installed the fully automatic block making machine at the site of the Chandigarh Waste Plant site . The machine will be a boon not only for the Municipal Corporation (MC), but also for the entire district .

At the Site of Construction and Demolition (C and D) Waste Plant site, Industrial Area Phase-I, Kirron Kher, a member of Chandigarh Member Parliament, installed the fully automatic block making machine, hydro-vibro compaction type with batch mix plant on Friday.With a capacity to produce approximately 12,000-15,000 paver blocks per day, Kher said the machine will be a boon not only for the Municipal Corporation (MC), but also for the entire district.The need for a cost-effective and quick production line for the block has increased over the years, providing high-quality, less damaged, and precise concrete products, according to Anindita Mitra, MC Commissioner.She said that the use of a block making machine in construction has improved with increasing success, both in terms of cost and versatility.

It will charge an additional Rs 100 per kilometer over the first 5 kilometers.Mitra said that people can also transport their C and D waste to the 23 designated recycling centers located throughout the city.Different kinds of concrete blocks can be produced with the same quality by machining different types of moulds.The work required to install the machine would cost approximately Rs 1.62 crore, plus maintenance for the next 5 years, according to the commissioner.

Anup Gupta, Deputy Mayor Bimla Dubey, a city councilor, and other MCC councillors and officers were among those present at the inauguration.
