Bengaluru: High-tech manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region are on a warpath to improve their manufacturing processes with automation and robotics, according to a study published on Thursday by Forrester Consulting and commissioned by Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise firm.High-performance networking and protection solutions will be used increasingly by high-tech manufacturers to drive sales and innovation.In the first quarter of 2022, more than 270 business and IT decision makers from high-tech firms from Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand were asked to survey the report, which stated that automation is the heart of the infrastructure revolution.Automation and robotics improve productivity, while the Internet of Things (IoT) provides a larger set of data that gives greater opportunities for improvement.63% of the companies polled for the survey believed that cutting-edge solutions, IoT applications, and networks were essential to driving innovation, while 61% believed that automation and robots had simplified manufacturing processes.
