Dhaka (Bangladesh), June 23 (Xinhua): According to a study released on Thursday by the country's Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room under the Directorate General of Health Services, 68 people were killed in floods affecting the country from May 17 to June 23, while some died as a result of snake bites and lightning.As of Thursday morning, 24 deaths and 645 infections had been reported in the last 24 hours.Flooding has wreaked havoc on large swaths of Bangladesh, particularly in the northern Mymensingh and northeastern Sylhet regions, according to Myanmar State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Md Enamur Rahman.(
