Mehsana, Gujarat: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a roadshow in the Mehsana district on Thursday, marking the start of the second phase of the Assembly election in the state.According to the Election Commission, there are 5,74,560 people aged 18 to 19 years and 4,945 people over 99 years.During the first phase of voting, there are 14382 voting centers, out of which 3,311 are in the urban areas and 11,071 in the rural areas.According to the EC, there are live webcasting of 13,065 polling booths in 19 districts.

The whole scheme has been followed by continuous monitoring starting at 6.30 a.m. until the voting starts.Voting is being conducted in a total of 25,430 polling stations in the first phase.Mehsana will vote in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly election on December 5, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to the Gujarat election campaign trail after a two-day delay on Thursday.This time, the Prime Minister's roadshow is expected to run through 16 assembly constituencies, starting at Naroda Gam and ending at Gandhinagar South constituency, with PM Modi making at least 35 stops at the memorials of notable personalities, including Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, who will be present in PM Modi's roadshow today.
