Bihar: Criminals cut a hole in the railroad's fence and take locomotive parts

Unknown group of thieves drilled hole in boundary wall and robbed parts of locomotive . Raid was carried out by Railway Protection Force based on data obtained from three individuals intercepted by Bihar police .

Bihar, November 25: According to railway officials, an unknown group of thieves drilled a hole in a boundary wall and robbed parts of a locomotive at Garhara Railway Station in the Baurauni district, prompting railway authorities to launch an investigation into the incident.The raid was carried out by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), which was based on data obtained from three individuals who were intercepted by Bihar police earlier.Officials at the RPF reported that the suspected were engaged in absconding locomotive parts for a long time.Manohar Shah, the godown owner, is however identified as absconding.The accused drilled a hole in the station yard wall and took pieces of an old locomotive parked there, according to Prem Shankar Dubey, an East Central Railways inspector.

Three of them have been arrested, and the hunt for others is ongoing.The bulk of the stolen items have also been recovered.According to him, a new investigation into the matter is ongoing.
