Bihar Governor is airlifted to a hospital in Delhi for treatment: Report

Bihar governor Phagu Chauhan was airlifted to Delhi for specialist treatment . Mr Chauhan became semi-conscious on Thursday night and was rushed to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) Patna .

Patna (Patron): According to Raj Bhavan sources, Bihar governor Phagu Chauhan, who became sick and was admitted to a hospital here, was airlifted to Delhi on Friday for specialist treatment.Mr Chauhan became semi-conscious on Thursday night and was rushed to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) Patna.According to reports, the Governor had been infected with fever for the past three days and was transported by special air ambulance to the national capital.When his condition worsened on Thursday, he was immediately referred to the IGIMS.

Mr Chauhan, 29, was elected Bihar's 29th governor in July 2019.
