Biplab Deb, Tripura's chief minister, has resigned.

Biplab Kumar Deb resigned as Tripuras chief minister on Saturday . Deb was summoned to New Delhi on Thursday to speak with Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP president J P Nadda .

GUWAHATI (GUWAHATI) Biplab Kumar Deb resigned as Tripura's chief minister on Saturday, a year before the state's assembly elections.I have been able to serve the people of Tripura with all my might and give them justice and a Left-free environment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's marg darshan.The assembly elections are approaching, and the organization wants me to help them.The government will only exist when the group is strong.

For the past few years, disgruntled BJP legislators have reacted to Deb's revolt in Tripura.Some of the disgruntled BJP MLAs have already left the coalition and joined the Congress.Deb was summoned to New Delhi on Thursday to speak with Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP president J P Nadda.He went to Raj Bhawan on Saturday and resigned to governor Satyadev Narayan Arya shortly after his arrival in Agartala.
