Yogi Adityanath congratulates all three candidates who won the states by-elections . Dimple Yadav, a Samajwadi Party candidate for the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat, won the bypoll by a whopping 2.5 lakh votes .

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) India (December 8, 2018) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated all three candidates who won the state's by-elections, which were announced on Thursday.For the first time, the Bharatiya Janata Party has won Rampur's seat, and for this, he wishes to all Rampur's staff, including Shri Akash Saxena, and the Janta-Janardan, he said in a tweet.Dimple Yadav, a Samajwadi Party candidate for the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat, won the bypoll by a whopping 2.5 lakh votes.Since SP founder and supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav died earlier this year, the seat was a Samajwadi Party bastion and was vacated.

On Thursday, the results of the bye-election of six seats in five states were declared.The by-polls ended in a mixed result, with Congress and the BJP leading on two seats each, with BJD and RLD leading on one.
