BJP gains in Gujarat are a direct result of development efforts: Singh Puri, Hardeep

New Delhi (India), December 8 : Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Thursday that the Gujarat Election Results are the real manifestation of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) development efforts.I'm referring to something that was probably put out of the question.Union Minister Puri said it's the actual manifestation of the kind of development-based work being undertaken by the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the countdown trends after the first few hours.According to Union Minister of Housing & Urban Affairs and Petroleum and Natural, it is a model for the whole world.

Puri said: Our (BJPs) vote share has increased by 12% while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has lost vote share among some groups... Puri said I am totally confident about the outcomes in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, and that they will act as a resounding endorsement of development-anchored policies and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visionary leadership.According to the latest estimates for all the 182 seats won by the Election Commission in Gujarat, the BJP has secured three seats: Dahod, Mahuva, and Petlad, and is leading on 151 seats.At 8 a.m. on Thursday, the count of votes for the Gujarat Assembly elections began.The counting took place at 37 centers in 33 districts in the state.

On December 1 and 5, Gujarat's assembly elections were held in two phases.By the end of the second phase, Gujarat's voter turnout was expected to be 59.11 percent.Gujarat saw a total turnout of 63.14 percent in the first phase of polling on December 1, followed by a Lok Sabha bye-election on November 12.The BJP has been in power in Gujarat for 27 years, with Prime Minister Modi serving in the Chief Minister's office for the longest time before becoming Prime Minister.
