BJP MP for Telangana meets with governor, requests inclusion of 26 communities on list of underprivileged classes

Telangana (India), November 24 : Dr. K Laxman, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, met with state Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday and asked for the inclusion of 26 communities in the backward class (BC) list of Telangana.He said, There are around 26 OBC castes in Telangana who have migrated from Andhra Pradesh (AP) and have been living here These castes have been omitted from the BC lists since the new state was established.The BJP has been discussing this issue in the state assembly.According to Laxman, those individuals who are of Andhra Pradesh origin are not included in the backward class list because they are ineligible for services.

To bring them justice, the BJP will stand by them.This should be considered by the government.If not, the BJP will do it when we take office.We will continue to hold marches until then, he said.
