bombs at a Jerusalem bus station, at least 18 injured

Two people were hospitalized after two explosions occurred near two mosques in Jerusalem . Police suspect one of the blasts was caused by a bomb left in a handbag left near the bus .

Tel Aviv, Israel, November 23: Two explosions occurred near two mosques in Jerusalem on Wednesday morning, according to The Jerusalem Post newspaper.Two of those people were hospitalized, according to the newspaper.The first explosion occurred near the main entrance of a bus stop in Givat Shaul, west Jerusalem, around 7 a.m. A second blast occurred at the Ramot junction, another entrance to the city, according to The Times of Israel ().According to reports, the origins of the explosions were not immediately known.

So far, no group has accepted responsibility for the attacks.According to reports, Israeli security forces were sweeping the area to find any suspects connected to the blasts.The explosions occurred at a time when Israel was preparing to elect a new government.
