Budget 2023: Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, calls for incentives for the renewable energy sector

New Delhi (India) — (New Delhi, November 25): Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who also controls the finance portfolio, has commended the central government for the newly created Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), which seeks to improve Indias commitment to achieving the climate change target.Devendra Fadnavis' other demands included an increase in Supplementary Nutrition Program (SNP) rates, the construction of 8,170 new Anganwadi centers, and a reduction of the upper limit for MSP procurement under the Centre price support scheme earlier today.This will be the last full Budget for Modi 2.0 government before the Lok Sabha elections in April-May 2024.He proposed that grants under the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) be divided into two tranches rather than four, in order to speed up the execution of programs.
