Following a disciplinarian hearing on Wednesday, the Sri Lankan Cricket (SLC) board has banned Chamika Karunaratne from all forms of cricket for one year.Karunaratne was found to have violated several clauses by SLC.The all-rounder pled guilty to all charges thrown at him.Sri Lanka Cricket would like to inform everyone that the three-member inquiry commission conducted an investigation into the suspected negligence by Chamika Karunaratne, a nationally contracted player, in breach of several provisions in the Player Agreement during the recently concluded ICC T20 World Cup in Australia, and he had admitted to all charges levelled against him, SLC said in a statement.
