CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) received a mixed reaction to its e-auction of 31 residential and commercial freehold properties, as there were only six sign-ups.The CHB had invited bids for the freehold sales of 31 built-up properties, including 27 residential and four commercial, by 31 individuals.The board earned Rs 3.91 crore, out of which Rs 1.62 crore was donated to the auction of two industrial properties and Rs 2.29 crore to four residential properties.A category-II flat in the Modern Housing Complex, which had the highest reserve price of Rs 98.60 lakh, was auctioned for Rs 1.01 crore.

At the reserve price of Rs 39.38 lakh, a one bedroom apartment in Sector 49 sold for Rs 39.49 lakh.Two booths in Sector 51-A were auctioned for Rs 80.40 lakh and Rs 81.77 lakh, respectively, at the reserve price of Rs 80 lakh.17 out of the 27 residential properties auctioned in Indira Colony, Manimajra, are in Indira Colony, Manimajra, and their reserve price ranges from Rs 32 lakh to Rs 34 lakh.The four commercial properties, all booths, are located in Sector 51-A with a reserve price of Rs 80 lakh to Rs 85 lakh.

The remaining vacant lots will be included in the next e-tenders, which may be released in the next week.
