Chhattisgarh Herbals: The state has established five top-notch test labs to guarantee quality

Five quality testing laboratories have been established in Chhattisgarh under the states indigenous brand Chhattisgarh Herbals . The Quality Control Program has been launched to enhance Chhattisgarh Herbal products in the region and abroad .

Raipur, November 9, 2016: To ensure that the products meet the required quality requirements, five quality testing laboratories have been established in Chhattisgarh under the states indigenous brand Chhattisgarh Herbals.In Raipur, Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Kanker, and Bilaspur, these laboratories have been established at the forest circle level.According to a recent announcement, the laboratories will be run by the State Minor Forest Products (Trading and Development) Co-operative Federation Limited of Chhattisgarh.Lab analysts have been selected for conducting experiments in these labs, and specialists have also been selected at the top level.

The Quality Control Program has been launched to enhance Chhattisgarh Herbal products in the region and abroad.According to the prescribed procedure, testing of 65 minor forest products, including 59 herbal, 46 edible, seven cosmetics, and 22 other items will be done in the laboratory.All district unions and Van Dhan Vikas Kendras that fall under the respective forest circle will be tested.Members of about 8,011 self-help organizations (SHG) are involved in the production of minor forest products throughout the state.
