PATNA (Patna): CM Nitish Kumar said on Monday that despite ally BJP's objections, he would soon convene an all-party meeting to take a vote on the state's caste census.In the presence of BJP leader and deputy chief minister Tarkishore Prasad, Nitish said it would take no longer to begin the process.The states all-party delegation led by Nitish met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 23 last year with the intention of conducting a caste census across the region, though Bihar's junior home minister Nityanand Rai said in the Lok Sabha explicitly that it was not possible.(It will take no longer than a few minutes to get to the top of the lagenga).
