Panaji: Michael Lobo, a Calangute MLA, reported on Friday that there has been an increase in shack owners' fees and has advised chief minister Pramod Sawant to reduce them.Sawant said he would investigate the matter.Lobo met Sawant and discussed issues affecting the tourism industry's employees.Rohan Khaunte, the secretary of state for tourism, has started the shack allotment process and even granted a one-year extension.
