Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh) India: On Tuesday evening, a fire gutted a house in the Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh, killing six members of a family, including three children, and injuring three others, according to police.According to police, the deceased Raman Kumar, an electronics and jewellery business owner, used to live in the building that caught the fire along with his family of nine members.According to Ashish Tiwari, the ignition that broke out in a building in Padham town of Jasrana district in the Firozabad district is reportedly due to a short circuit, and police officers from 12 stations were immediately pressed into the service after receiving an alert of the shooting.According to the Chief Ministers Office (CMO), the Chief Minister expressed grief over the loss of lives and urged officials to reach the location quickly and carry out the relief work at a rapid pace.The Chief Minister thanked the district administration for their prompt care and continued to wish the departed souls a speedy recovery.

In addition, the Chief Minister directed that Rs 2 lakh be immediately given to the families of the victims of this disaster.
