Counseling for NEET UG 2022: MCC Releases Notice Permitting Change Of Nationality For Mop-Up Round

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has given a notification to the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) applicants, allowing them to change their nationality from Indian to non-resident Indian (NRI) Candidates who claim to be NRI are urged to file their necessary documents to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI by email ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com .

New Delhi (New Delhi) — The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has given a notification to the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) applicants, allowing them to change their nationality from Indian to non-resident Indian (NRI).Candidates who claim to be NRI are urged to file their necessary documents to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI by email ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com.The Supreme Court of India has ruled in the case (W.P.(C) Number 6892017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) and Anr Vs Union of India and Ors).

On November 23, MCC announced a list of candidates who will be accepted in NEET UG 2022 round 1 and 2 counselling for All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central Universities, and State Quota seats in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programmes.
