Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programs Announced by UGC

University Grants Commission unveils new curriculum and credit framework for four-year UG courses . Students will be offered multiple entry and exit options, single major, double major, multi or interdisciplinary choices .

Today, December 12, the University Grants Commission (UGC) revealed the Curriculum and Credit Framework for the four-year undergraduate courses (FYUP).Students will be offered multiple entry and exit options, single major, double major, multi or interdisciplinary choices under the new FYUP structure, according to the UGC Curriculum and Credit Framework, and a curriculum that emphasizes employability skills in addition to academic topics.The UGC has updated the Choice Based Credit scheme and developed a new curriculum and credit framework for four-year UG courses, according to the commission when it unveiled the Curriculum and Credit Framework for FYUP.All higher education institutions have been encouraged to take the appropriate steps to implement the undergraduate curriculum and credit system.
